Different Shades Of Pink

Pink is the universal color for girls or women in general we can all agree on that. I happened to be nosing around, as I usually do when I’m on researching mode and came upon several readings where pink was associated with being bland, soft, delicate, weak, etc… I couldn’t help but wonder, “Well what happened to hot pink? “

I happen to like pink and don’t mind being associated with it. I have met, read about and have seen powerful and successful women tinted with pink. How about I mention Mary Kay? Yes, enough said there… Women are the most versatile and multi-faceted beings and just like there are many shades of pink, there are many shades within one woman.

Baby Pink – Our motherly shade. The loving, caring and will give our loved ones everything expecting nothing in return.

Pink – Our friendly shade. The girlfriend, adviser, psychologist and socialite that shares her knowledge with the world.

Hot Pink - Our Diva shade. The entrepreneur, professional, home-keeping, outspoken hussler that strives to make each day more successful than the prior.

I will not ask what shade you are, because I firmly believe that there are different shades of pink within every woman. Whether you are a professional business woman, a successful or striving entrepreneur or a stay at home mom you can provide love, caring, support and stability.  You have strength, ambition, power, independence and you work hard.  It just depends on the situation, where you are and what you need to do, that you apply your shade of pink. You are perfectly capable of being motherly, friendly and a diva no matter what situation arises! Now, where is the weakness in that?

  1. I love pink, together with green they are my fav colors! As for shades, I tend to go back and forth between pink and hot pink. I love how you used colored text in the post :)

    • Hello Delia!

I am always amazed by our different shades! I haven’t tried the green and pink combination much so I might try something to see how it looks. I’m glad you liked the shading touch on the text :)

  2. I am totally a purple kind if girl:) and I agree with everyone being different shades. I also think in any given day I am a bowl full of skittles! Tons of colors tons of ambitions.

  3. I loved this!! It is so true too! I always thought as myself as being like an onion… Many, many layers but seeing as onions aren’t the most nicest smelling things on the planet ( and I actually smell quite good, I think! Haha) I will be using the pink reference from now on!

    • I’m so glad you liked it! I am sure you smell quite well lol Referencing your different shades of pink is awesome I’m positive they are all within us ;) thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!
